FUEL SUPPLIER
The project brief was to take a design concept and produce a W3C standards compliant responsive website with an element of e-commerce.
The primary aim of the website is to sell heating oil and fuel to the local area. Part of the project involved developing a bespoke admin/content management system which would be used to specify delivery postcodes, minimum order levels and fuel prices within specified price ranges. The website would enable customers to check their postcode for delivery and order a specified amount of fuel, the website works out how much to charge and the order is placed and paid for using SagePay.
The ordering process needed to be as slick and simple as possible so AJAX is used to make requests to the database with no page refreshes, the magic happens in the background!
